Shopping For All Seasons

This post brought to you by No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.

Some days, I envy our furry and feathered friends, who never have to worry about what to wear and always look fabulous!

It can be fun to pick a new outfit, but when money is tight, it can also be a challenge.   I'll never forget my first corporate job.  I was thrilled to be hired, but panicked when I realized I'd need to purchase a whole new wardrobe with a very limited budget.  Fortunately, a good and very well-dressed friend came to the rescue.  She helped me go through my closet.  I only had one suit, but I did have a a few skirts and blouses that only needed a blazer to transform them into business wear.  She introduced me to high end consignment shops to purchase those.  Then she coached me on mixing, matching and using accessories to create multiple outfits from a few items.

I'm betting that Jill Martin, author of I Have Nothing To Wear! and the new ambassador for No nonsense tights and leggings, would approve.  Like a good friend, Jill gives sage advice on weeding out clothes that don't work and improving future purchases by defining your own style.  My own style is far more casual these days.  I value good looking comfort and, as you might guess from the photo above, I love one of nature's favorite colors - green.  Over the years, I have picked up a few tricks of my own.  One is to look for items that will work well in all seasons.  The skirt, shoes and jewelry in the photo can be paired with a light weight or heavier top to produce great outfits for summer and winter.  Notice how pairing the outfits with different colored tights can help set a warm or cool tone.

Jill's advice on how to look great for less, makes her a perfect partner for No nonsense.   No nonsense tights are affordable and easy to find at your local grocery, drug and retail stores.
